Tuscany, Tuscany, Tuscany.<\/strong>\u00a0Picture in your head everything that would describe Italy: green\u00a0countryside, rolling hills, wineries, wine, cobblestone streets, churches, cheese, anti-pasta and pasta.\u00a0CHECK!<\/span><\/p>\n

All of this and more was to be spotted on my\u00a0Viator<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0:\u00a0Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour from Rome.<\/a><\/p>\n

Montepulciano<\/h1>\n

Our first stop was the Medieval\/Renaissance town of <\/span>Montepulciano.<\/strong> <\/span>It sits high on a limestone ridge with narrow streets and stone houses everywhere.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Amanda oh so nicely informed me that the second twilight movie was shot here<\/strong>, the Volturi\u2019s place of residence (if you watch the movie).<\/p>\n

Here we are standing in the middle of Twilight Square, which is really just the town\u2019s main piazza.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, can I please just point out the amazingness of this car. How the italians drive on these tiny, hillside \u201croads\u201d is honestly beyond me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Montalcino<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Lunch time! Our stop was in Montalcino<\/strong> at a <\/span>traditional Italian wine cellar: POGGIO IL CASTELLARE<\/strong>.\u00a0 All the wines we tasted were from the Montepulciano and Montalcino region. Seriously cannot express my joy in wine tasting, and also my regret as I love wine, too much, and we still had a whole other town to visit. O dear\u2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Pasta! No trip to Italy is complete without some of this \ud83d\ude42 Also perfect to soak up the wine.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pienza<\/strong><\/h1>\n

After wine tasting our last stop was at\u00a0<\/span>Pienza<\/strong>, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. <\/strong>\u00a0It was a rather\u2026enjoyable one. Talk about a storybook typical Italian town. Flowers adorned all the shops and window sills, plus narrow cobble street proved perfect for skipping and um\u2026.not falling on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I kid, I really enjoyed today.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
