So I\u2019ve been living in London <\/a>for the last 3 months, and while I am a travel \u201cblogger\u201d sometimes I just need to stay put and literally NOT travel for a little while. That was London.<\/strong> My down time, time to catch up on work, on my blog, create some different videos, and sort out my future\u00a0travel plans for the summer\u00a0months.<\/p>\n

Well before I left London for these summer travel plans, I thought it would be nice to explore some of the country side and surrounding areas. So for my first trip in my Viator Ambassdorship<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0I decide to do a day trip of some of England\u2019s most impressive sights only a few hours away on a full day sightseeing tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock Village and Bath.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Windsor Castle<\/strong>, gosh I wish I was a royal. Exploring the various ordinate halls and rooms that the royals lived in is seriously something out of the movies. It makes you crave the Tudors, or any other british historical TV show. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although you can\u2019t go into most of the Castle, the areas you do visit are very impressive and definitely make it worth the trip.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next up was a personal favourite of mine, Stonehenge<\/strong>. One of the top places on my bucket list<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not gonna lie, Stonehenge was quite\u2026.small, a lot smaller than I thought. I was also expecting to feel something more, some sort of aura or power like I did when I visited Machu Picchu<\/a>, and\u00a0Angkor Wat<\/a>, places of extreme spirituality and power. But I guess not, maybe it wasn\u2019t the right timing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I am glad I saw it and I loved every second of being there, but it\u2019s definitely not what I was expecting.<\/span><\/p>\n

For lunch it was off to the town of Lacock<\/strong>, a medieval village, very carefully preserved from the exterior. <\/span><\/p>\n

While there we decided that the best use of our limited time was to run around looking for the Harry Potter houses, since apparently Professor Snape\u2019s House<\/strong>, James and Lilly Potter\u2019s House<\/strong> and Tom Riddle’s Grave<\/strong> was filmed there. We were following a 9 year old kid that seemed pretty adamant in which house was and wasn\u2019t in the film.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last stop was the town of Bath<\/strong>, a very pleasant surprise indeed!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While the architecture in Bath was beautiful to look at, I wish I had more time to have actually gone into the Roman Baths, since that alone would have been a wicked experience. But, I didn\u2019t plan nor think that far in advance. My bad.<\/em><\/p>\n

Regardless, grabbing a Starbucks drink to warm up and wandering down the Avon river was quite a relaxing\u00a0way to wrap up our trip.<\/a><\/p>\n
