Unfortunately, we were in the wet season, which is the wrong season for crocodiles, who generally prefer the dry season when the river is lower.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Daintree River, Australia\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/33736956@N08\/6899129675\/\" rel=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7199\/6899129675_05efa33b64_b.jpg\" alt=\"Daintree River, Australia\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I didn&#8217;t realize how territorial crocodiles are, the section of the river we cruised through was governed by a crocodile called Scar-Face.\u00a0 Unfortunately we did not see him, we did however see a baby crocodile on the banks.
