I am a huge fantasy buff and I LOVE making costumes. I don’t make them very often and I have no particular skill set that enables me to create them of any specific quality, but I do love stepping out of the box and attempting a challenge. So, since I have gotten myself obsessively hooked on HBO’s Game of Thrones<\/a>, which is based off of\u00a0George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire<\/a> novels, for Halloween<\/strong> I decided to be one of my favorite characters: Daenerys Targaryen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do you think? Below is the final product. It took around 4 days to complete, not full days, but minimum 5 hours each day,\u00a0 and I never ended up using my sewing machine (all hand stitching!).<\/p>\n
