{"id":24253,"date":"2011-09-23T22:38:33","date_gmt":"2011-09-24T06:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.heynadine.com\/?p=24253"},"modified":"2011-09-23T22:38:33","modified_gmt":"2011-09-24T06:38:33","slug":"lima-peru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/heynadine.com\/new\/lima-peru\/","title":{"rendered":"Lima, Peru"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Day 1: Contiki South America<\/h2>\n<p>So today was the official start of our <a title=\"Contiki South America\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heynadine.com\/contiki-south-america-who-what-where\/\">9 day Contiki South America tour<\/a>.\u00a0 Today we took a bus city tour of Peru&#8217;s capital and its most populated city, Lima.<\/p>\n<p>httpvh:\/\/youtu.be\/rLHfVp0j_7w<\/p>\n<p>Our wonderful tour guide explained to us about many tidbits of Lima and Peruvian culture, including the massive amount of Spanish colonial influence and its numerous vast public squares.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_9955.JPG\" alt=\"IMG 9955\" src=\"https:\/\/www.heynadine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/IMG_9955.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our guide also told us about the different areas of Lima, how the drivers are crazy and how there is no public transportation only private ones.
