Corfu
Now I only spent a couple of days in Greece and after two days of sun I can understand why everyone is so tanned here. I was dark, no more pale Nadine. I’ve noticed it a couple of times before, when I was in Southeast Asia I tanned very well, same with the south of France. I could never get any colour in Canada, nor when I was in New Zealand or Australia. Yes Greece I like your sun and your heat – and boy was it HOT.
Good thing one of our free days in Corfu was spent on George’s Boat so we had easy access to the refreshing, cool water.
Water Sports
On our day cruising on George’s Boat we stopped off to do some water sports. Para-sailing, donuts, chair boats, water skis, you name it and it was there! I was very keen on chilling in the water and not doing any water sports; however, I am also a sucker for peer pressure and so I ended up doing donuts with a few of the other girls in my group.
We all fell off.
That evening we went out for a traditional Greek feast and dancing. While the meal was good and the dancing fun I started to miss my delicious Italian wines 🙁
The following day was filled with pool time at our wicked hostel and of course a toga party.

Toga Party
Although toga parties are suppose to be quite common this was really my second time I have ever been to one. 40 minutes, that is seriously how long it took me to tie up my toga, embarrassing. You would think something so easy wouldn’t be that difficult but it was.
At last, time to dance the night away.
Lookin’ Good! I’d love to try para-sailing and water skiing one day 🙂 The water in Greece looks beautiful!
