Today is a day I have been looking forward to all trip: The Cadbury Chocolate Factory Tour

Cadbury Chocolate Factory, Dunedin, New Zealand
Now for all of you poor Americans that might not know of Cadbury Chocolate , they are the creator of my 3 favorite chocolates: Crunchie, Caramilk and Mini Eggs. I have never been more excited to have chocolate at 9:00am.

Please do not touch the Crunchie Mountain.

I wasn’t able to film the tour but basically we got a lot of free chocolate, learned about how chocolates are made, and saw a giant waterfall of chocolate.

Can I just point out that this is the most amazing photo I have ever seen of myself. You can actually see the excitement in my face!

Now to burn off all the calories from the excessive amount of chocolate we consumed we ran up the World’s Steepest Street, Baldwin Street in Dunedin.

Lake Ohau

Mt Cook is undoubtedly one of my favorite parts of New Zealand. It is visually stunning and the drive there is totally worth not sleeping through.

As our last evening together as a group, everyone choose to bring out the greek in them and we had ourselves a toga party!

Time to say goodbye to all my new Contiki friends and New Zealand. Till next time!

  1. Why do you consistently have to make me so jealous!!
I have never seen a lake so clean and pristine looking as Lake Ohau, and that backdrop for that last picture of the toga party is just ridiculously stunning and surreal looking. New Zealand was amazing, and is now definitely on my wish list. Looking forward to Australia and the rest of your travels šŸ™‚
